Home again, home again
I'm back from a rare vacation and rarin' to go! Lots of things happened while I was isolated from modern society completely.
In Britain, athletes did a Powerade shoot in the buff. Pretty.
Combative, curmudgeonly brilliant writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn passed away. After being tossed from the old Soviet Union, Solzhenitsyn didn't keep his ire towards the West under his hat, chiding his host nations for craven materialism, even while searing his former home. Of course, when Communism fell, he chided the new nation too. A study in courage, if you ask me.
Some nice guerilla ads by ESPN.

Well, I'm looking forward to being back in the fray with both feet til...well, til next summer!
